
What is the CR2 Contract?
The CR2 Program is all about quickly deploying critical systems to satisfy the nation's security, defense, and business needs .
CR2 is a comprehensive, enterprise-wide initiative that makes available to Government Program Managers the full range of scientific, systems engineering, systems integration, test and evaluation, manufacturing, and technical services to provide solutions for War fighter requirements. This multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type of contract uses competitive Time and Material (T and M) or Firm Fixed Price (FFP) task orders to provide that rapid access to solutions.
The length of the contract is a two-year base period beginning in February 2003 with three (3) two (2) year options. CR2 provides users with a rapid means of accessing leading industry resources, products and capabilities without today's traditional acquisition lead times. 21 CTI is proud to be a team member of Galaxy Scientific Small Business Prime Contractor for the CR2.
CR2 CONTRACT:
The CR2 contract is available to virtually any DOD, Federal, State and Local Government Department or Agency. A broad range of equipment and services can be provided to accommodate varied user requirements.
These requirements include Research and Development, technology insertion, system integration, systems engineering, hardware/software installation, incidental construction, fabrication, test and evaluation, certification, studies and analyses, technical data management, logistics, training, and acquisition support. These types of activities can be applied to airframes, vehicles, watercraft, shelters, spacecraft and other similar systems, subsystems, and platforms.
